Individual assistance
The EURAXESS Centre provides fully personalised, face-to-face assistance, interpreting and other services in connection with appointments at Czech authorities including the Ministry of the Interior (Department for Asylum and Migration Policy), the Foreign Police, and others. Researchers typically turn to us several times during their residency in the Czech Republic. At any one time, we are usually involved in advising some 800 researchers representing more than 60 different nationalities.
Foreign researcher integration
We provide a range of services designed to facilitate the integration of researchers from abroad, and their families, into Czech life. We offer regular Czech language classes, discussion events and social gatherings, as well as daytrips and weekend excursions to places of cultural and natural interest around the country. We enable researchers of all nationalities and academic fields to meet and get to know Czech researchers both professionally and socially.
Careers in science and research
We manage a unique web portal dedicated to researcher mobility: www.euraxess.cz. In addition to a substantial amount of practical information regarding life in the Czech Republic for researchers from abroad, the portal provides access to the EURAXESS Jobs&Funding pages, where vacant positions in research institutions anywhere in the European Research Area can be advertised and potential applicants can search for suitable vacancies and upload their CVs for consideration.
